How do I book a photography session?

Send a booking request with the package you're interested in, your preferred date, and a brief description of what you're looking for. I'll confirm availability and the details of your shoot before your session is booked.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot.

Can I customize a package?

Yes. Personal photography packages include usage for personal websites, portfolios, professional profiles, and social media.

Absolutely. The packages are designed as starting points. Additional time, locations, looks, images, products, video, drone footage, and other services can be added based on your project.

What's included in a people photography session?

I'm based in Los Angeles and photograph throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Travel outside the local area is available and may require an additional travel fee.

What counts as one product?
What is a “look”?

Depending on your package, sessions can include portraits, headshots, personal branding, fashion, lifestyle, editorial, and social media photography. Each package specifies the session length, number of locations, looks, and final retouched images included.

A look is one outfit or styling change. Hair, makeup, wardrobe, and major styling changes may require additional session time.

Can we shoot at multiple locations?

Yes. Signature and Creative Half-Day sessions can include multiple locations as specified in the package. Locations should be reasonably close to one another so travel does not significantly reduce shooting time.

No. Package prices cover the photography session. If a studio, venue, permit, parking, admission, or special location is required, those costs are additional unless specifically stated otherwise.

No. Clients are responsible for their own hair, makeup, and wardrobe unless these services are specifically arranged as part of a custom project.

Yes. You're welcome to bring one guest, assistant, stylist, or makeup artist when appropriate for the shoot and permitted by the location.

Are all photos from the session included?

We'll discuss the number and type of products, desired backgrounds, styling, number of images, and intended use before the project begins. Products can be photographed in clean studio-style setups or styled environments depending on the package and creative direction.

One individual item or SKU is generally considered one product. Different colors, sizes, flavors, designs, or variations may be considered separate products depending on the photography required.

Yes. Products may be shipped for photography when appropriate. Shipping to and from the studio is the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Yes, when return shipping is requested and arranged. The client is responsible for return shipping costs and providing any necessary shipping labels unless otherwise agreed.

Are models or special props included in product packages?
Can I purchase additional images?

Standard simple props and backgrounds may be included depending on the shoot. Models, specialty props, food styling, elaborate sets, locations, makeup artists, stylists, and other outside production costs are additional.

No. Each package includes a specified number of professionally edited or retouched final images. Unedited or RAW files are not included.

What's the difference between editing and retouching?

Editing includes professional adjustments such as exposure, color, contrast, cropping, and overall image refinement. Retouching may include more detailed work such as skin cleanup, removal of minor distractions, and additional image-specific enhancements.

Can I purchase additional images?

Yes. Additional edited or retouched images can be purchased if you'd like more than the number included in your package.

Do you provide RAW or unedited images?

How do I receive my photos?

Final images are delivered digitally through a private online gallery or download link.

Standard delivery is generally within 7–10 business days after your final image selections are received. Larger commercial projects may require additional time. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Can I post my photos on social media?

No. RAW and unedited files are not included. Final delivered images represent the finished work and quality of Dekko Photography.

Yes. Personal photography packages include usage for personal websites, portfolios, professional profiles, and social media.

Can businesses use the photos commercially?

Commercial usage is included with Product, E-Commerce, and Brand Content packages for the agreed business, website, e-commerce, social media, and marketing purposes. Large advertising campaigns, resale, third-party licensing, or other extended usage may require additional licensing.

Do I own the copyright to the photographs?

Yes. I'm available for projects outside Los Angeles. Travel expenses and any required accommodations are quoted separately.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Please provide as much notice as possible. Sessions may generally be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

What happens if the weather is bad?

For outdoor sessions, we may reschedule when weather conditions would significantly affect the shoot or create unsafe conditions.

Cancelation, weather & rescheduling

Do you offer video and reels?

Session time begins at the scheduled booking time. Late arrival may reduce available shooting time because other sessions or commitments may follow.

Do you offer drone photography and video?

Yes. Short-form video, reels, and social media content can be added to many photography sessions or created as part of a custom content package.

Do you travel?

Yes, when the location, weather, airspace regulations, and project allow. Drone services may require additional fees, permits, or approvals.
